What’s his best win at 147? Guerrero? Rios?
I don't see much difference in Danny at 140 compared to 147. He's just fighting better competition.

I mean who is better Khan or Spence? Matthysse or Porter/Thurman?

And I don't think Danny looked bad last night. He was on more than his other fights and was really trying to counter Spence at every opportunity but Spence took the fight out of him with his jab and body shots. He’s just not on his level, no shame in that.

I do not believe he is damaged goods, however I do believe he has hit his ceiling. Meaning he is where he is and cant go any higher.
He was lights out at 140, but at 147 he is basically a damn good gauge or gatekeeper for up aand comers now.
Keith Thurman took that soul from him

I don’t think he carries the same power at 147. Guys like Collazo and Lopez hurt Thurman more than Garcia did.

Garcia had fight changing power at 140. He seemingly doesn’t at 147.

I think he still has heavy hands though. Both Porter and Thurman said he was the hardest hitting fighter they have been in the ring with. He's just not able to put two or three big shots at a time as he was against a little lesser competition.

Overall he's still mainly the same good fighter he was at 140. Only difference is he's fighting bigger and better guys at 147.

I agree with many of you that might be that simply he doesn't belong to the elite at 147 we way we thought a few fights back because as a matter of fact, he got a reputation (at 140) amount boxing expert, the he aways found a way to win.

I think now he will need a great match maker to keep him relevant at 147.

I’ve never been convinced by his power at 147. I mean the likes of Redkach went the distance with him. Danny at 140 would have blitzed Redkach IMO.

I think part of it’s he’s lost a little bit of hunger and secondly I just don’t think his power is a difference maker at this higher weight class.

The hunger part is interesting but at least for this fight I thought he was focused and came ready to fight. He just had that look all camp at what was at stake.

Power for most fighters will be less effective as you move up but I don't think power is his issue really. He dropped Mathysse but it's not like he won that fight by knocking him out. Won it that way vs Khan but his timing is his biggest advantage. The jab by certain fighters has been able to off set that.

Honestly I been saying that while Danny is good he isn’t great. He can be top 6 in a division but will not beat the other 5

Danny is not a bad fighter... he just lost.

We act like better fighters have never lost a fight.

                      Danny's amateur career was something like 117 W 13 L

His pro losses were close losses. Never been KO'd or even knocked down etc.

Danny needed to let his hands go more and NOT wait or try to time Spence
