Errol is still a "bully!" He's there to be hit, but he's so relentless, and he attacks the body like Mike Tyson! I wish we could see Crawford vs. Porter, or Ortiz Jr., just so we could see how he handles a real live dog in the ring! I still say Spence Jr. vs. Crawford is a 50/50 fight, but Errol has proven he's "The Truth!" Bud passes the eye test with flying colors, but "looks can be deceiving!"

Spence Jr. vs. "Boots" Ennis! Crawford vs. Ortiz Jr.! MAN UP!

It has a bit of that Caneloesq feel to it. A counter puncher waiting for you to miss so they can counter with big shots.

Problem is when you run into someone with high ring IQ as in this fight or in Canelo v Floyd you are in for a long night.

I think you may have a point about the possibility of getting someone else other than his father.
Danny's been here before, it's the same old story with him. For some reason only known to him, he doesn't throw enough punches in his fight. It has to be a stamina issue in his mind, because he has a sturdy chin, so it can't be that he's afraid of getting knocked out. It just appears to me that he'll always lose these close fights, he needs an elite trainer in his corner. Maybe just maybe that would give him the sense of urgency that is required for him to win his big fights. All of his three losses have been in the welterweight division, I don't think that he'll do any better at super welterweight. He might just have to move up, and see if he can pull off an upset, but he'll have to get some significant wins before he earned a shot at that title.

I think Lara would love that fight ASAP! Danny is still a name, former champion, never been stopped! Danny is better than Lara's last 2 opponents! Even in a non-title fight, Danny vs. J-Rock would be BIG in Philly! Danny vs. Boots in Philly is FIRE too! Danny has options!

Danny does still have options, moving up, and fighting those three fighters are good options. Danny is in desperate need of an elite corner, his father just isn't elite in any sense of the word. Like I said he keeps on losing the big fights in the same manner, and he'll continue to do so, unless he makes effective changes.

Move up? You can make an argument that he's too small for 147.

Danny Garcia can't compete at the elite level.

I don't know if anyone can make Danny a "come forward" fighter at this point in his career! He reminds me of JMM. Great counter puncher, but always "waiting" for the counter shots! That's how you can lose fights. I think Danny could KO J-Rock, but Boots would be a problem for him! Lara might be an ugly fight, but if Danny would pressure him, it would be good, because Lara can move laterally as well as he used too! If I were advising Danny, I would choose J-Rock in Philly! Win, move on! Lose, time to retire!

If Danny runs into the J-Rock that beat Hurd ...he is in for a long night IF it ever happens.

Yeah, what happened to that J-Rock? Now he's switching trainers? I think he's good, but we know he can be stopped! It would be a good fight for them both to prove themselves! Add Boots Ennis and Cool Boy Steph to the card, and Philly would be on FIRE!
