If Canelo tries to brawl he gets KO’d

I think you’re wrong, despite his size Callum Smith is a great inside fighterOriginally posted by VatoMulattoWhy would Smith like to brawl in the first place? He's 6'3 with a huge reach advantage. Brawl would be perfect for the iron chin Canelo. Canelo sparks him in a brawl.
Canelo overall is a better boxer and will have a speed advantage. Smith has been known to be vulnerable to the body which is a strength for Canelo
Smith needs to try and use his height and reach, keep it at range, use his jab, even if it’s to the chest or he’s hitting arms. Then when it gets close, use his size to lean all over Canelo, try and tire him out.
It will be a really interesting fight!Comment

Agree that’s not playing to his strengths, if it gets in close he should spoil and holdOriginally posted by VatoMulattoPoint is he should avoid and not welcome a brawl. Canelo has a great chin, faster hands and also heavy handed. I do favor Canelo if it turns out to be a brawl.
But I do think Smith on the inside is massively underrated for a talk guy with long armsComment

Brawling is the wrong word. Nelo engages in heated, yet, strategical exchanges.
Nelo will be fine either way. Will survive any mistake he makes.Comment

Callum is taking a beatingI just don’t see any other outcome. The best case scenario for the great Canelo is to cover up as much as possible and land pot shots. He doesn’t have the power to stop Callum but he does have a speed advantage. Hopefully Canelos pride doesn’t take over and he tries to fight a big puncher that makes G look like a welter.Comment
