I'm just not impressed with the current welterweight division.

Call me crazy, but I truly believe a prime Oba Carr in today's era would easily rule the division. There are no Trinidads, De la hoya's or Quartey's in the division. ****, even the guys like Livinstone Bramble he struggled with early in his career would beat a lot of the top guys today. I'm not impressed with these guys fighting twice a year and having to take rounds off due to fatigue.

Its not as good as pacquio marquez mayweather cotto mosleh judah era yet this crop is actually good with depth its just not super deep where u got prime pac n mayweather who would kill these present crop sure prime cotto n marquez would still probably be #1 today yet that showes you the depth of welter from 2000-12 . yet i think spence would fair well back in the day be a margarito level fighter or such but def not champ. Crawford hell nah he wouldve just stayed at 140. For doesnt fight top 10 now let alone back then. I believe zab judah level at most is crawford and thats being hopeful.

Unfortunately, no one has separated themselves. Spence was a little better than Brook and a little better than Porter, and more than a little better than a Danny Garcia who has no quality win at the weight class. Crawford...well, Crawford best win is Victor Postal and he's been crowned best in the sport.

yes but he lost. He lost the first 5 and the 10th as he was hurt to the body. A 40 year old ww that faded late and he couldn't capitalize on it. Thurman is azz

Foh...... Sound like u just saying that to make Manny look better.

Thurman not consistent enough sir. There was a short window of Prime Thurman that would and even still he too vulnerable.

He was almost knocked out by Collazo

Yep. For some reason my mind wandered tonight back to Mosley vs DeLaHoya back in 2000 and what a shootout it was.
