That was most alarming. Even more so, than the punch resistance being visibly weaker. Look at Spence, in between rounds and right before the next round started. When he was waiting for the bell to ring, he had this look on his face like he was disinterested in a sparring session he didn't want to be a part of.

Thurman looked epic and legendary against undefeated Danny Garcia.

      Thurman > Spence

Honestly I think welterweight lighter skin David Haye has a good chance to brutally ktfo spence

I would pick Crawford even though his resume at welterweight is pretty weak
Crawford gets hit just as much as Spence, yet fights way more defense. Got dropped by a C level fighter 2 fights ago, and Brook busted up his eye within 2 rounds. Why do yall speak like Crawford does not get hit.

Yet Crawford hasn't fought anyone close to Danny, Porter, or the version of Brook Spence fought

I agree. Taking shots from the biggest puncher in the division at being slightly buzzed at most means you’ve got a suspect chin now?

Crawford stopped all of his opponents, included shared opponent Kell Brook, at WW and is undefeated from 135, 140, and 147 with no close fights. Crawford also 1 of 2 lineal champions in the last...20 years?

So please tell me again how Spence is more "proven"

Crawford makes his opponents submit and/or TKO/KOs them.

Spence didn't look remotely as good as Crawford against Brook. As a matter of fact Spence has never looked as good as Crawford. Spence is just bigger

I just told you how Spence is more proven. He has fought and beaten better fighters. Has Crawford fought anyone as good as Porter or Garcia? No.

I thought Spence was pretty good tonight considering the circumstances. Seemed to back off after the head clash in about round 9. Caused some swelling & he certainly felt it.
He’ll be better for the fight & will improve considerably for the next bout.
I think writing off Spence against Crawford on the back of such a layoff & with him recovering from a nasty car accident is extremely premature. I don’t think Spence knew in his own mind how he would take being hit tonight & how much he would tire. I think he will know he can get back to the Spence of old, but it’s going to take a lot of work.
I still think Spence v Crawford will go the distance & should be a fantastic fight & a 50/50 one in my opinion.
