I was thinking about this the other day. Everyone keeps crying about fights but there not willing to go all out to get it. There used to be more of this in boxing but now everyone has gone soft.
I was thinking that Williams will probally say something about Margarito in the post fight if he wins but he still wont say what he should say. Right now Arum said they are close to a deal with Clottey and you get the feeling that Arum is trying to rush & get a deal done before Williams looks real good and people start asking for the fight.
What Williams should say in the interview is that "Margarito is a scared punk. He said no one wants to fight him but I will tear his ass up. He calls out guys who are smaller but he knows what happend between us in the gym and thats why he is terrified to even respond to me. He's all hype and he knows I will expose him for the fraud that he is".
Now you think if Williams said some **** like that then the media wouldnt start buzzing about this fight and wanting to see it? They will start asking about what is up with Margarito.
Guys like Margarito should also do the same. These guys are talking but if you really want a fight then you have to straight up disrespect the guy verbaly & if needed then you come at him physicaly. Margarito should come in the post fight interviews and straight up diss Floyd. They also see eachother at fights alot and shake hands. Instead of shaking hands Margarito should try to get at Floyd, push him, or even swing on him. Then when the media ask him about it he should say, "I came at him because he's my *****. He's terrified of me and gets nervous everytime he's around me. He better keep security around him because I will ***** him everytime I see him because he's a overrated joke".
How could Floyd get out of a fight with Margarito then? The media & fans would eat that **** up and Floyd would probally just want to fight him anyway. Guys just dont really try anymore. Do you guys remember RJ on top of the world, just killed a HW, and Tarver stealing the show at the press conference. He straight up dissed RJ and even asked him, "what do I have to do, come to Pensecola and piss on your lawn? Stop ducking me because Im not impressed at all".
Do you think Tarver wouldve got a RJ fight if that didnt happened? RJ had to fight him then. Do you remember after Hopkins beat Tito and I think him & RJ where at a fight for Smoke Gainer or someone. Hopkins got all up in RJ's face and tried to physicaly attack him. That fight didnt come off but it was close and the differnce is that everyone knew RJ wasnt scared of X and had already beat him once. Alot of people think Floyd is terrified of Margarito so it would really work.
The bottom line is that if you want something then you have to go for it or else you will be waiting forever. These guys need to put pressure on there opponents.
