even with a brick hands i'll still fight him. you can't let the pay day slip just like that. that purse comes one in a million chance. do you still duck? win or lose or you might never get them until the end of your career.

i'm not into money but if your life is at stake i'd rather get the one with the biggest pay day win or lose. boxing is always a 50/50 chance.

Fighters might think that way, managers dont and there have been loads of managers that did not want to put their guy in with Floyd at the time.

If that is what you think he did then WTF does that say about the rest of the current fighters in boxing?

Didn't have to fight Lara, Trout, GGG twice or Danny Jacobs but he did when people said he wouldn't!

I been watching boxing a very long time, I just understand that whoever is the face of boxing for their ERA, they're given just this Ridiculously Unrealistic Expectation that is just impossible and they will never be able to please everybody so why try?

Canelo always give the fans the fight they want to see eventually and I think he will do it again and fight Charlo, Plant, Benavidez, BJS and all those guys but that still won't be enough...after that and if he beats them "He Should Move Up To 175 Again And Fight Bivol and Beterbiev"

So the Expectations only go higher and higher it doesn't stop. Often times then expectations are set by people who wants to see a fighter Fall so they start demand just the most ridiculous match ups
All ive done is post a timeline of what Canelo has done over the past 6 years. Ive tried to keep my opinions to a minimum, so no its not so much about 'what i think' its about what hes done. If you disagree with my opinion that he has chosen the path of least resistance & cherrypicked the easiest beltholders across multiple divisions then please, let me hear it. otherwise the rest of your post just comes across as cheerleading & irrelevent opinions with regards to the thread matter. Especially the 'Canelo has always given fans what they want to see' line which is so comically untrue that im just wondering what your smoking and can i have some

Face of Boxing is who Draws and makes the most money in the sport of boxing basically. Doesn't mean they're the best or the most talented but they're truly "The Big Fish" and everybody wants to fight him because fighting them gets you a Career High Payday

i'm not entirely believe that manager thing.. tons of money changes everything even the managers. boxing today is a business like they said "in disguise".

They must balance being macho too the fans and make business decisions that benefit them either in the moment or over time, which is often leads mangers into treading water milking the system.

A perfect execution was Arum and Manny, lets say Floyd beat him in 2010, add up what Manny made for that fight, then add up what Manny made in all the fights from that point too the Floyd fight, Arum milked Manny all the way.

All this stuff is subjective, no blanket fits all.

Honestly, it seems like your issue is with this ERA not being very good...so all those "Terrible Belt Holders" that Canelo beat for Belts is his Fault? I have more of a issue with the Likes of Liam Smith, Rocky Fielding somehow becoming World Champions that seems more of a BIGGER ISSUE!

Anyway, lets go with your "Cherry Picking The Best Resume" Theory...if what he is doing is so easy and he is taking "The Path Of Least Resistance" then why aren't others doing the same thing? Why GGG not doing it, why is he not moving up to 168 and fighting BJS? Just not buying you can Cherry Pick the best Resume in boxing because if that was possible EVERYBODY would do it

Also too...name the fights that you wanted to see Canelo in that he cannot make anymore?

Maybe you know something I don't...Is Canelo retiring after the Callum fight or something? So who's to say he doesn't ultimately fight Jermall Charlo and some of these other fights fans want

Can you detail how he draws and makes the most money in boxing?
