Crawford has been a titlist at 135, undisputed titlist at 140, and is currently a titlist at 147. He's done pretty well for himself, but he hasn't had an opponent who's really pushed him to the brink of his capabilities. Even if I agree that he's had a more meaningful career than Spence so far, I still believe that he needs the PBC stable to fully legitimize his WW run. He's 33, so he still has time.

What's your take on Bud vs. Vergil Ortiz Jr.?
boxing is full of hypocritcal statements and actions.....basically though there are too many good/lucrative fights for spence to consider fighting boots.....and i still think spence would fight thurman if uncle al says so....he might say he wont but if push comes to shove and thats the move he will

bud however doesnt have those options....i think him vs ortiz would be a good option...i havent really dug too much into the situation...i know ortiz expressed interest and is #2 in the wbo rankings with porter being #1.....whats the deal with that situation? im not up on that

During fight weeks other potential fighters always come out with sound bytes. No surprise here. Keef has been talking too just nobody cares. They both could use each other on their resumes, Spence is winning his top level fights by narrow narrow victories, Crawford has limited competition and beautiful ko’s.

Seems like a serious change of tune and I like Bud but WTF! Totally different compared to that time they ran into each other at one of Maurice Hooker's fights. Maybe Bob and Top Rank told him this and this is what he is running with now.

Ugas, Shawn Porter, Vergil Ortiz, Boots Ennis all wants to fight him so it is really no excuses other than Arum refusing to pay anymore big money on his opponents because he is losing money on Crawford events I guess

Not sure about Bud, even if he becomes a Free Agent I don't think him going to PBC is a given I could see him going with Eddie and DAZN

Golden boys roster is deathly slim right now and they may hesitate to feed up their young future money maker to Crawford who isn’t the biggest draw. They’ll bring up his name though for sure
