I'd be surprised if he goes out without a farewell match but I suppose if Mayweather falls through and he can't get a matchup which can generate the money that he is used to, then DLH's last fight might be the Mayorga fight. Not the worst way to go out, that's for sure.

I don't think De La Hoya should go out on the Mayorga fight. In reality, that fight only proved that Mayorga was as mediocre as we had previously thought. The Mayweather fight will happen in the next year or so, and its gonna be a very competitive fight. De La Hoya is an exciting fighter, but he falls just short of true greatness.

I think he definatly fights Floyd around June. You can tell that he wants that last big fight. Now if Floyd loses before then, Oscar will retire. The only 2 fights that really interest Oscar is Floyd or Winky and I dont think he really wants the Winky fight because it will probally be harder and wont be as big.

In Floyd, Oscar knows he will be much bigger, it will probally be Floyd's 1st fight at 154, he can go out on top by beating the #1 P4P fighter in the game, it will be one of the biggest money fights in history, and he see's Floyd as being very beatable at the weight. Then you add in all the subplots with the family stuff, Oscar's last fight, against the best guy in the sport, and you know Oscar will definatly take this fight. ****, he could maybe get 30mil for it
