Why is everyone pretending Daniel Dubois wasn’t ahead on the cards?

We’re just going to pretend like he was going to lose anyway.

We’re just going to pretend like that fight wasn’t going to lead to a mandatory title shot.

Okay Dubois family, take it away! I know you’ll want to criticize me!

Up or not he was while on his way to losing via SD. I guess he could taken the moral victory in going the distance while taking the risk of losing sight in one of his eyes.

This is exactly what quitting is.

“I was going to lose anyway!”

We don’t even know that and he quit. LOL

One judge had the fight a bit two wide for Dubois but I could say the same about the judge that had Joyce up by 3 rounds.

I had 5-4 Joyce while one judge had it 5-4 Dubois. Both would be good scorecards based on the fight itself.

I don’t disagree, Dubois quit in the fight. He had good reason to in my opinion but he did quit. Based on what I saw he wanted to quit long before the 10th. He took his final stand in rounds 8 and 9.

I had Joyce edging it at that point and I think it was going to go his way.

Joyce was already up 3 on one card. And down by 1 on the other. 10, 11, and 12 we’re going to be dominate rounds for Joyce.

Even if Dubois rose he was still going to lose round 10, 10-8.

There wouldn't have been any room for a robbery.

Unless you’re saying the judge that had it 5-4 was going to completely amend his card after the 12th.

You're right again, but, also, **** it dude. 3D just isn't the warrior type. He's clearly in the sport to make money more than he is here to be a legend. His career will be fine. I won't back him against anyone with a pulse until he proves there is a reason to, but I'm sure others will and the brits basically blindly support their guy in any international fights so, plenty of money for 3D yet and I'm sure that's what he is after.

Were all those belts WBC unter belts? I know the EBU and BBBoC are, but, that commonwealth belt, who is the body for that one?
