It's just the facts of the matter.

Porter went close with Danny, too. And Keef.

Porter is better than you give him credit for.

Imo Porter was the toughest match up for Spence stylistically, and he's already gotten past him. I think he can beat DSG and Keith more comfortably. I think a Porter rematch or Crawford is the biggest challenge for Errol right now, and then maybe Ortiz, Ennis or Yelussynov in a year or so.

Porter is a hard fight for anyone. He attacks hard every minute of every round in most fights. He beat Garcia and Spence beat Porter so there you go.

That’s because the general consensus thought that Spence belonged to the higher tier than Porter, Garcia and Thurman.

Could it be that Spence was overrated as much as Porter was underrated?

          What "general consensus"?

Spence was still largely untested prior to beating Porter.

Which is why these guys have to have the test, and why anyone who wants to be the guy should be forced to go through Shawn Porter to see if they belong.

Spence and Crawford have been the consensus 1 and 2s even before the Porter fight. There were high expectations between the two. Everyone expected that they would steamroll the rest of the division. The Porter fight however didn’t turn out as expected. Spence was just merged in the contention with the others instead of becoming a dominant take over. It only became a reality check. Crawford is up next.

Way better than given credit. He is the toughest fight at 147 anybody can take. His style is all wrong for the whole division

Who has ever steamrolled Porter though. He is the toughest fight anybody in the division can take IMO

Lies and failed attempt to rewrite history.

Or did you forget that Manny Pacquiao shot immediately up to #2 after beating the champ?

                  Because Spence beat a champion.

                  Porter beat a champion.

                  Manny beat a champion.

Crawford once beat a champion and hasn't seriously challenged one since.

Regardless, Spence was not "consensus" anything until he beat Porter.

I agree, that's why I always give Kell Brook credit for handling Porter better than anyone else.

I think the car accident and the year off will be more central to Danny winning or having any success against Spence than anything else.
