I don’t think he will make a difference

This kid has a suspect chin and either you have excellent defense you will still fail at the elite level once hit. It’s hard to think of a great fighter with no chin, I didn’t say good; but great!

J rock has a suspect chin and his boxing IQ and defence were poor in his last fight. He is going to get KO'ed again.

Grab, drop weight, wait until ref breaks. Rinse and repeat.... U all try fighting after carrying another man throughout the fight. Should be warned and deducted way before the late rounds.

He competes in division where everybody is bad enough to lose to everybody, so, I think he can be a champ again.

This will be a nice development for Williams. Sugar Hill is an amazing trainer and will probably be the guy to bring out the best in Williams. Sucks to see Breadman get replaced since he’s such a class act, but this move is probably necessary. J-Rock really needs to protect his chin since there are heavy hitters in that division.

Especially in the current 154lbs era with guys like Hurd who could probably fight at 168lbs easily.

There seems to be two camps at 154lbs right how:
Big/Huge Junior Middleweights: Jermell, Rosario, Hurd
Normal/Small Junior Middleweights: J-Rock, Lara, Lubin, Harrison

                    We could add
Too small for 154 but too big for 147lbs: Brook, Vargas, Algieri (now ranked at 154lbs by the WBA)

Not bad of a move. I just don't see it, how it can improve his game.i see Jrock as a traditional boxer puncher, he's effective at range, offensively, chin is definitely suspect so I definitely wouldn't try to change his style to that of an inside fighter. I like this subject though..I'd break it down to strengths and weaknesses. I'm gonna do an initial assessment of this guy, I'm intrigued. One thing I know is I have a future world champion of my own
