They hyped up Daniel Dubois also. How'd that turn out?

James is on the brink of fighting for a world title. His team won't risk a world title shot by putting him against one of the top boxing prospects so that Joe Blow on the Boxing Scene forums is happy.

I'm sure you know this but it doesn't fit your agenda of bad faith attacks.

Van Heerden is the guy that sparred McGregor and pieced him up after Paulie got worked.

Daniel DuBois can't box though! I could see that within 3 rounds! Boots is a very different animal!

Boots called out ALL the top fighters, THEY DONT WANT THAT SMOKE, he has no choice but to fight lower comp until one of the main guys man up to get that work.

Let's stop acting like Jamal James is some sort of actual threat to any of the real champs at 147. But guys like you wouldn't know that because the pom-poms blind you to facts.

I don't remember that, but I do remember how savagely Spence beat him down a few years ago. I believe he's South African. I'm wondering if it's the same guy I'm thinking of.

Why doesn't he beat a few contenders and put himself in position to become a mandatory? You're telling me that Ugas, Lipinets, Custio Clayton, Avenesyan, Mean Machine and Rashidi Ellis all turned him down? I find that hard to believe, but it makes for a great urban myth. Boots is very talented, but talent grows dull after years of fighting soda cans. Gary Russell is a perfect example.

Van Heerden is a better test than Dulorme. We'll see if this pans out since I bet they would have preferred the former 140lb Dulorme coming off a loss than the former(?) 154lb Van Heerden(tempting atleast, having not fought over a year).

With the way this kid and his team talk you'd think they wouldbe trying to get a Kavaliauskas like opponent though.

Van Heerden is tough. Fairly feather fisted, but had his moments vs Spence. He didnt go down until Spence hit him with a blatant rabbit punch.
