I hate this sorta bs by a promoter. I get a fighter saying it, but a promoter shouldn't be shutting down a fight fans would dig seeing next time out.

And I say this not even disagreeing that Ryan will have earned a fight with Teo more if he's still undefeated on Jan. 3 more than Devin has, but Teo vs Devin is still a compelling fight whether Devin is next or Devin beats a top guy next to better deserve an opportunity to prove himself.
