And so it begins. The protection of Lopez by Arum. The twisting of narratives which a lot of fans will believe. This only shows one thing and that is Arum doesn't truly believe in Lopez which is odd because Arum is his promoter

R e t a r d logic...”hey I haven’t fought a top 10 opponent I deserve a real title shot!” Fanboi logic, “the champ is duckin!”
Boxing purists logic “your boy is in the minor leagues and was gifted a fake belt and until he fights someone with a pulse he is irrelevant to any title conversation.”

Arum should give Haney a list of 5-10 opponents he considers worthy of a title shot when Haney beats them, until then Haney should fight every 6 weeks against fighters like Gary Russell Jr. Fortuna, Linares the Winner of Nakatani vs Verdejo while he is waiting for a big fight.

Arum only has Lopez, and it's clear he doesn't wanna risk him against Davis or Haney. All promoters should freeze Top Rank out. I'm tired of Arum. Nobody needs Lopez.
**** Arum and Lopez.

So in short it's a duck. Haney will clearly want to fight Lopez but Lopez won't want to fight Haney. But if they did fight it would be for undisputed.
Its a duck, play all the resume cards, the need to prove something cards, what ever, 2 champion wants undisputed and 2 champion doesn't.
Its a duck.

I thought Lopez said he was going to take Haney out next. Seemed like he lost confidence in his ability fast!

Fact
Don't agree with Arum most of the time but on this very understandable! At least fight one live body just like Teo did!

What has Garcia done to open a path to Lopez so easily that Haney hasn't done to the extent some ppl feel that the door to Lopez should be locked him.
All sounds a bit hypocritical to me. Sounds like Arum is scared Haney wins, dethrones his champion and takes the belts back to Eddie Hearn.
Its a duck.
