Now if Canelo was about to retire, and agreed to just some public sparring... okay yeah it would sell. Nothing really competitive or risky. But you already know that.
I wouldn't want a 12 round fight with 3 minute rounds, with Tyson getting hit by small gloves. But another fight like the Tyson-Jones fight with 8 rounds at 2 minutes each, with big gloves, would make it less dangerous.

Even the Jones fight is dangerous at Mike's age. I think a blown up Middleweight isn't as dangerous than some of these Heavyweight names that Tyson has been throwing around.

Canelo is in his prime. Too fast and his punches are too crisp plus the monstrous stamina of a 30 yr old. This is not even a funny match-up. Size wouldn’t matter, Tyson is 54

He’ll be outboxed, he’ll tire badly and he’ll be set-up for a bad KO

Canelo would win pretty easily, hes in his prime, he would come in at like 185 and it would be a brutal beat down.

If Canelo fought Tyson, he wouldn't have to cut weight, but he'd likely still be well below 200. Tyson is much older, but will be less rusty after the Jones fight.

Tyson would put up a better fight than Julio Cesar Chavez Jr did. What kind of numbers would this do on PPV if it happened on Cinco de Mayo?
I think Tyson has a better chance against Mayweather

Canelo at 180+ pounds tomorrow would beat Mike Imo.
Mike is soooo old, even looks like he lost a lot of muscle mass compared to his prime (obviously he’s 54).... Canelo could outbox or stop him now.
Sad but true. Any top 20 heavyweight kills mike easy now.

Canelo said Cruiserweight is too much for him, but after hearing about the upcoming Mayweather-Paul exhibition fight, Canelo said he wouldn't rule out doing an exhibition fight.

After Canelo and Mike Tyson both had high profile fights, I think this exhibition isn't too crazy. The Tyson-Jones fight did big numbers.
