That was NOT him crying about them taking a shot at him. So your post is ridiculous. Stop trying to win points (Am sure you would deny this but you play this card all the time) with some of these posters on here, you are not doing yourself any favours.Comment

That’s the biggest thing now, when you build someone up to the masses like he is the next Mike Tyson, the way his promoter was building him up then they would lap it up and believe you, especially when he is putting everyone away (Cab drivers), but when they see him quit like he did last night, then the rebuilding job becomes much more harder. Everyone is trying to be respectful to Dubois but they all still say he quit. Even though they don’t want to say it.Comment

I dont think his corner was experienced from what I saw last night. Dubios looked completely lost and his corner weren't much helpComment

He would have to have a long rest due to his injury. His corner were panicking in there last night, which isn’t a good sign for DDD himself, you compare his corner to JJ corner and it’s light and day.Comment

They were panicking, you can see it. I don’t think that gives DDD any confidence whatsoever. Am sure Frank Warren would be looking to make changes to that corner, especially now that he has given him a 5 year contract.Comment

I agree and yet Roberto Duran is given a pass for quitting against sugar ray leonard and is still ranked very high in history
It’s been confirmed that dubois has a broken eye socket and nerve damage so I can imagine the pain he had and this injury really ended brooks career so it’s not injury that repairs easily.
But your right again and when you fight cans and your not use to having to take punches your not mentally toughened and.that’s why an amateur background pays off in the professionals.....it toughens you up for journey aheadComment

Duran did a lot for his legacy before he lost including beat Leonard. Like I said in my other comment, I hope he gets back and does well, makes some more money for himself and his family but the truth is his spirit got broken and you could see it in his eyes, people say yea he had to do it his eye could of suffered a career ending injury but at that point how was he supposed to know if the puffy eye was seriously injured? Those type of things happen in nearly every fight to boxers. You could see it in his eyes he didn't want to be in there anymore. All I'm saying is, he can come back and beat some shi**y opposition but if he lost to a "slowish" guy like Joyce how would he do against serious opponents? He got hyped up way too early, they made him into the next Mike Tyson yet he took the knee even tho he received no real punishment. The future will tell I guess but not anytime soon, now it's gonna be back to fighting C level British opposition.
I’ve never felt an infinity towards him and I never spoke about what he would achieve because like a lot of Warren fighters he feeds them bums ....then they get exposed as soon as they come up against a good seasoned fighter.Comment
