Inoue fought with a broken eye from round 2, described it as shock waves going through him. I don't know what it feels like and hope I never find out but either way I think this will haunt Dubois.

Remember this is exactly the same as Chavez Jr's quit against Jacobs. Don't remember anyone sticking up for him except his old man.

Why would he? He has been tested. Had a completely shut eye.

Taylor is a pratt, a thug, who will end up in prison before all said and done but while he’s British he isn’t t English and the Scots don’t care too much for the English. I do get your point though, there have been more British Jeff Lacey’s (since the English love bringing up a fight that had no English fighters involved) than American.

By the way, St George flag wavers....why do you lot always centre on American fighters from some sort of rivalry and not the Canadians, the Australians, the South Sea Pommies (NZ), the Germans, the Danes, the Nigerians, etc etc any other group of boxers. Why do the English obsess with American boxers?

He’s a Mexican, Dubois is British, therefore he gets sympathy from the nationalists

Joyce will be a top-8 HW for sure.

I worry about Dubois now. Looks like a slightly more durable David Price. He will KO a few half-decent HW's but struggle against anyone who can fight back

I wouldn't complain if a fighter quit from a serious injury. Some of these guys who ended up in wheelchairs maybe should have quit before being stopped. Fighting on for the sake of looking good is just as dumb as quitting early.

              Dubois didn't look seriously injured

To be honest, I love when the Brits go after each other like this. It's so damned entertaining. Kinda like the ********s vs. the **********s here. When the fight was first announced, I predicted Joyce would stop him late. Nothing on Dubois' record indicates he could handle adversity or deal with major resistance. At least Joyce beat a somewhat decent Bryant Jennings less than two years ago.
