I remember reading an in-depth article about Roy at the end of his career and it mentioned that he had to stop doing road work because his knees were so bad.. He basically used to run on bad dirty roads when he was younger which did him no favors.

Never knew that dirty roads messed up your knees. I’m definitely gonna start wearing shoes from now on.

For their age, they both displayed high skill level and great form in all of their punches. Just goes to show, boxing skill never just goes away. Roy and Tyson would get dismantled by any fringe contender at HW, but both looked good considering their age and inactivity. Tyson looked really good, better than Roy. I was impressed with how they “looked”, wasn’t looking for them to fight like their prime selves. Just don’t embarrass yourself, and I feel like they both boxed relatively well for their age/nature of the fight (exhibition).

Amazing how they managed to perform at this age! They really looked like professional fighters in there, not like 2 oldheads trying to get a payday. I think they gave us more than what was to be reasonably expected from 2 55 year olds and I'm happy Roy got paid since he was facing some financial difficulties and it was a shame considering how legendary a fighter he was.
