You guys who wrote the blurb that passed for an article should be embarrassed and ashamed of yourselves for scoring this exhibition for CHARITY as if it were a real fight. They were patriotic and sorting to do this during the pandemic to raise funds for deserving causes.

Only a knowingly outgunned and outweighed Jones had the gumption to step up to the plate when an opponent was looked for. They KNEW they were only shells of their former selves, not anything like when they were the best in the world, and also knew that they would be exposing themselves to criticism and malice from ignorant people who would never donate one cent to charity, but feel they have the right to criticise heroes of the Ring.

All credit to both stalwart warriors.

That’s a flat out lie. Ugas vs. Ramos drew 1.1 million viewers. And when did boxing become about Promoters, networks, promotional companies and not about the fighters? Boxing fans have some of the most mentally stunted fans out of all sports. You don’t see baseball, basketball and football fans harping about their team’s sports directors or owners more than the actual players themselves. These back and forths about promoters has to be the most ******ed thing discussed in boxing today. And you wonder why other sport’s fan laugh hysterically at us.
