I agree, that should’ve been stopped at the second knock down. Nate did not look like he really wanted to continue, the refs should’ve seen that and waved it off.

      Nope! He got KTFO!
      That's the thing.

      Nate thought too much himself.

He thought I'm a former NBA athletic freak, I'm from the hood so I will make easy work of that youtuber.

He got embarrassed and put to sleep by that blond bltch looking dude in front of the whole world.

Nate ego now is probably as shattered as his jaw was in the second round.

Time for him to see who really is his friend and what he's made of.
That's some "leading to depression" life event.
Pro boxers are more prepared for that.

The ref gave him some 15 seconds counts lol, it didn't help.

The ref sucks. You are supposed to protect beginners, we have seen world championship fights stopped for much less.

Nate took too much punishment, even the first knock down it took him 9 seconds to get up.

Nate should be mad at his team, they lead him to disaster, he was not ready at all.

It looked like his first sparring session ever.

Yeah, and it was not some Loma vs Lopez or Spence vs Garcia championship.

It was a beginners fight, it should have been stopped after the first KO, Nate took 10 seconds to get up and didn't protect himself.

Well said and I can’t add anything to it!

I will try to be as clear and concise as you.

I grew up in a not so good area of Cali, and I thought I could play tennis.. my girlfriend was saying it ain’t in you. So I played her and got crushed. She was a CCS number 1 (central coast section) my high school was CCS.

I learned. Or so I thought

Then I fell in love with a Japanese American ice skater and tried that twice..

            Fell and looked ******

I liked and still like Nate
He was a great shot blocker and scorer

But that 𝐼𝓃𝓉𝑒𝓇𝓃𝑒𝓉 Paul dude was scoring on him like he was defenseless!

Stay in you mo ****ing lane.

            Your post is excellent

                  Thanks bro.

Yeah but I would rather take a beating by a pretty girl in Tennis than put to sleep in a boxing match.

Nate should sue his boxing team lol.

They led him to disaster. He looked like a guy sparring for the first time, scared to throw the right hand, hugging desperately.

I watched his work out because I was curious, I thought he looked like ****, you could see he wasn't able to generate power from his legs cuz he had no "hip movements" in his punches, which is weird when you think how this dude's legs are supposed to be explosive.

His pad work sounded like some miminumweight average Joe.

On the other hand you could see that Jake Paul was smashing pads and sparring partners.

I thought Nate could not be that bad and they wanted to play some soft mind games before the cameras...
But no, he was that bad, which is crazy for a supposed to be smart, former pro athlete.

Boxing is a whole different thing.

While Nate Robinson looked pretty bad/funny in there, especially when he constantly charged Paul with his chin hanging in the air, you can’t use Nate Robinson as an example to show that all athletes would be like that if they took up boxing over some other sport.

First of all, boxing isn’t learned overnight. There is a long process where you start in the gym sparring. Then there is the amateurs, and finally you make it to pro and most boxers start with tomato cans.

Nate Robinson’s technique was very poor and he looked like a celebrity athlete who trained for a few months.

You can not use Nate Robinson to say that, that is confirmation bias. What about the other pro boxers who started out playing other sports but then took up boxing and found success in it?

                    Shawn Porter played football.

James Toney declined multiple scholarships to D1 schools for football. He was considered a star football player but took up boxing.

                    Sergio Martinez played Soccer.

Wilder played football and basketball in college before taking up boxing.

Anthony Mundine played professional Rugby before turning pro at 25.

Hank Lundy played football and decided to not play college football due to financial hardship.

Im really liking what the Paul brothers are doing, they’re staying in their own lane fighting other celebrities for now. Anyone who is objective can’t say they’re not impressive in their dedication and taking to boxing in only a couple years time. If you guys don’t think they’ll eventually get world title opportunities if they Keep this up for a few more years, you clearly doing know or don’t want to accept what a trashy sport boxing is.

Also, fighting other celebrities makes for matches the public is interested in. What I find most compelling is that they’re bring hundreds of thousands of new eyes on the sport and the fights they’re in are fun. This is nothing but great for the health of the sport.

Self-important boxing fans Hate them, which gives them the classic Mayweather “watch to see them loose” angle as well. It’s perfect.

These guys just need to keep on doing what they’re doing, it’s great.
