Jacobs will never be a champ again

I think it is obvious, this man fights scared. I don`t see him beating any champ at 160 or 168. He is good enough to remain on top 10 level, but he will always lose a big fight.

I think even old GGG beats him again.

he was never that great of a fighter to begin with. overrated because he had a competitive loss to a past prime ggg.

only claim to fame is beating an equally overrated chinny quillin.

Seems to fight to the level of his comp. Might be more of a motivation issue. He didn’t seem up to this fight at all, even during. Probably knew this was a trash fight and figured he’d be fine as long as he was in shape. He wasn’t locked in at all. Between rounds he just seemed to have such disdain for the fight.

Danny needs to be fired up, otherwise he goes in like this. Does better in a “nothing to lose” situation like when he’s the underdog or when there’s real danger. He’s an incredible talent with enviable attributes. It’s purely mental I think. Go back to his old trainer or needs a fire lit under his ass. You may have been part of 2/3s of the biggest MW fights in recent years but he lost and he needs to act like it. Not like some diva who doesnt need to prove himself

Not with that "Sparring Match Effort" he had last night vs Rosado he won't be!

I think he the type of guy who fluctuate his performances. Before the GGG fight he was rated that high. He pulls out that performance then go get outclassed by the guy GGG arguably beat twice.

Eh I'd say that him BJS and Callum Smith are all 50/50 fights. Saunders and Smith both underwhelm against lower competition as well. Danny seems to be the same kind of fighter. I think all of their styles make for competitive fights.

                BJS schools him I think

I like Jacobs but if he was being outboxed by Rosado, then I think he would struggle badly to get to grips with a good version of BJS

Probably a bad style for him at this point.
