are crawfords opponents 'not the same' after fighting him or just not very good...

a lot of the fighters he fights end up losing to awful opposition afterwards. postol dropped twice and won a robbery against a 10 fight novice in fight after and then lost to a very green taylor. diaz lost a decision straight after to a nobody, horn stopped by tszyu, indongo demolished straight after even quicker by prograis and now stopped again in 2, burns lost 2 of the 3 fights after, gamboa turned into a journeyman/stepping stone fighter, stopped by a guy who now has 14 losses.
Whats the deal, were these fighters all top drawer but just not the same after fighting crawford? I cant think of one fighter whos gone on to do anything afterwards.Just seems like other fighters are beating these guys just as easy if not even easier than crawford did

People age. Sure Gamboa is a journeyman now, but he fought Crawford almost seven years ago. Postol may have lost to Taylor (I actually haven't seen the fight) But I thought he beat Ramirez a few months ago.

Indongo and Burns were ALWAYS trash fighters.....the others have just aged a bit and boxing isn't very kind to that.

It depends on which opponent. Some of them like Brook and Khan were already shot. He may have hurt the confidence of some boxers he put a beating on like Horn.

I doubt there is anything different or unusual about losing to Crawford that would ruin boxers worse than losing to some other boxer. Why would that be? Many of his opponents were not very good before they fought him. Mean machine just won a fight by KO. Postol looked decent last fight even though he lost a close fight to a very good fighter.

I sad many times. He is GGG of welterweight division. He will fight top competition too late and lose to Spence by decision.

If you are good, like Lopez, Arum will step you up quick.
If you are hype, like Crawford, Arum will put you on his patented protection program.

He has the career of an eternal prospect, never quite stepping up.

                    Both

It’s true that he does lack level of opposition but you better not line up your excuses once he beat an elite opponent. Spence, Porter, Thurman etc.

He also has underrated opponents better that their lack of popularity says. Benavidez and Kava.
