I actually think it’s a dig at Dubois because he said in an interview a few years ago that he knocked AJ out in sparring. Well other people said it and then Dubois confirmed it.

So maybe Eddie thinks it’s fair game to say what he heard about Dubois.

Well anyway I just found it quite interesting because when Dubois was coming on the scene, I knew of people who said he can’t take a punch but is talented. But never heard anything since until Eddie said that.


Anyway sparring is sparring, I’m sure every heavyweight gets hurt or dropped when they’re sparring other heavyweights.

When I saw how he reacted every time Lartey hit him, it was obvious he can't take a punch.

Hardly surprising doe if true. Lotsa good to great HW fighters got dropped in sparring. You probably can't have a off day when sparring HW's.
