I don't really follow MMA and didn't know that about Jones.
If that's what happened (which doesn't surprise me at all) then it's disgraceful and shows that the promoters don't care about ped use.

Jones was at the center of controversy when a trace amount of turinabol was found in his system ahead of UFC 232. The U.S. Anti-Doping Agency (USADA) determined that this was due to the steroid metabolite having a pulsing effect and not the result of a new dosage. Jones was popped for turinabol back in July 2017 and received a reduced sanction from USADA.

As part of the agreement to move UFC 232 from Las Vegas to California, Jones was required to undergoing testing from the Voluntary Anti-Doping Agency (VADA). The same M3 metabolite was found in Jones’ system in the VADA test, but he will not be punished as CSAC Executive Director Andy Foster said this once again wasn’t the result of a recent dosage.

So in summary:

- Event was supposed to take place in Nevada

- USADA popped him twice for trace turinabol

- The second time, USADA said, well it's still in his system and just seems to keep on showing up, he's not actively doping

- Jones said it was an erection pill from some drug store that did it

- Dana whined about NSAC and USADA, and moved the whole event to California with the condition being that Jones had to undergo VADA testing and be clean (because California doesn't accept USADA testing)

- VADA finds the same turinabol

- CSAC director basically copy-pasted what USADA said and allowed Jones to go unpunished

Thus why I refer to it as the 'Jon Bones Jones Loophole' - as 3 other UFC fighters got off scot free under the same situation.

Also why I said, if that's going to happen, they might as well just legalize and regulate anything that is currently a banned substance.

Draw would be a good bet on this fight if you find a bookie taking bets. Very likely they just pitter pat their way through it.

Betfair wasn't taking bets. Draws are expected in non serious events like this.
