Are loudmouth/arrogant boxers more successful than humble boxers?

I'm talking about at the very top of the sport...

Loudmouth boxers: Ali, Mayweather, Fury, Teofimo, etc

Humble boxers: Frazier, Pacquiao, Wladimir, Loma, etc

Why do the arrogant ones seem to find a way to win?

They don’t always win, and they sometimes win Because arrogance and humility have nothing to do with fighting ability. Also I wouldn’t really call Loma humble.

Yeah, being able to have sound bites and quotable quotes goes a long way to getting your name out there. People love to see if a loudmouth will get socked in the face or if he will back it up. It’s not for everyone but it works. Always has.

You only notice it more because they feel the need to tell everyone they won, they crave validation. Broner, !Mayorga, Pazienza, were big talkers yet took their share of losses.

The two biggest boxers in the world - Canelo and AJ - are not loudmouths.

            There goes your theory.

Go to bed and stop smoking cheap weed. Get the decent and expensive one.

Canelo lost to Mayweather and AJ lost to a fat boy.

                Absolutely

The best fighter of an era have huge ego more often than not

Humility is overrated and liked because the average person has no achievement that makes them proud

Humility must come from an accomplished person to be a virtue

The biggest losers are average people with no ego. These people aren’t even trying to be great at anything

                  Confidence is huge in boxing

Supreme confidence often manifests as arrogance

Floyd made a speech upon receiving a boxing award

He went into the psychology of every great champion

They all must think they’re the greatest of all time

You don’t get to that level with ordinary confidence
