His career has been a joke biggest fight was against a washed Arthur Abrhams, he never ever attempted to join World Super series as he knew would get exposed.

Yet another top fighter who never got the big fights under top rank. I’m starting to see a pattern here...
They should changer their name to ‘top shelf’, they got the best but nobody in the party is allowed to touch them

I'll believe it when I see it. His track record says otherwise.

Both guys need this fight and makes for an excellent clash of styles.

Zurdo had his chance to fight Smith in a unification. But as soon as Eddie and Arum started talking positively about the fight, he drops his title and runs off to Lightheavy.

He's fought nothing but bums in 40 fights. So i'll believe it when i see it at world level. But i won't be holding my breath with this guy.

A unification was being set up against Smith before he dropped his title and ran off to another weight class. So you're wrong here.

Zurdo also had the opportunity to join the WBS. But yet again, he declined. That's on him. No one else.

yep, seems like nobody believes this guy, but Bivol - Zurdo, Beterbiev - Smith Jr would be the semi-finals fans are itching for

I'll even put my money on Joe Smith over Zurdo especially in this weight class.

Agree! I don't know what some others want to preach soo adamantly about but they should get their facts straight. Zurdo has been chasing a big fight for a long time it seems. I never ever seen him duck an oppertunity. He was the one all avoided at 168 but look at them now. 168 is still avoiding each other. Top shelf definately has a lot to do with it.
