I'm saying, he ducked Toney and Jones, by his OWN admission.

He actually fought Calslappy (which was a mistake at his age) and Carl Thompson which was a huge mistake.

Eubank's problem was always weight because he was never as good at the higher weights like Hearns managed to do AND anyone who was slick gave him problems. Schommer, who looked like he was a plumber when he wasn't fighting, straight up outboxed English, as did Steve Collins (twice).

It is a shame that we never could get to see Eubank (pre-Collins) in there with Hagler (pre-Leonard). Now THAT would have been interesting.

Eubank v Hagler? In a time warp you mean? Eubank was a novice when Hagler fought Leonard.

Eubank was too tight making 160lb with the same day weigh-in.

That's why I said we never COULD GET TO see that fight. But it would have been a hell of a fight.

Interesting. You mean the older, brawling Hagler?

The version of Hagler that fought Beast Mugabi would have really tested the version of Eubank that was still undefeated.

Just those dream matchups that can never happen.

I think Hagler regressed so much by then. Eubank's foot speed would've been horrific for him.
