Tyson v RJJ, broken PPV pre sales record

    Sorry if already posted.

It’s broken the pre sales PPV record, but no one is saying what those are?

    Seems like huge global interest.

    Interesting

I don’t know anybody that seems interested in it, never mind buying it

The news sites aren’t saying how many PPV buys were needed to break the pre sales record either

        Wasn't the prior Canelo?

Would guess either Canelo or Mayweather

Makes you wonder how many buys a Prime Tyson would do in this digital era? You’d have to imagine 5m+ with the right dance partner.

Imagine if punch-out was a 2020 phenomenon instead of 87. Dude would have raked

Certainly possible. He was losing to bums 15 years ago and still is a polarizing figure with a huge name.

Tyson in the social media era would be insanely popular.

Yeah he’d be getting millions from EA or 2K as the face of a yearly gaming series. Like Tiger Woods with the golf games back in the day.

I was very young when Tyson burst onto the scene so I can’t remember exactly how big it felt, but from what people say there’s never really been a buzz like it in sports, aside from maybe Ali.

Yeah it would have been crazy. As you say look at the money he was still making as a shot fighter.
