Can we stop pretending like Pretty Boy Floyd was some serious knockout artist?

No hate on Floyd, he's clearly an ATG, but I'm tired of his stans pretending like the beginning of his career like he was some knockout machine.

He knocks out a bunch of bums from 1996 to 1998, like most contenders do. He gets his first title fight over ancient Genaro Hernandez. Looks great on paper, until you find out Genaro was a ***** little ***** and quit when Oscar lightly tapped him on the nose. And then you find out that Genaro beat nobody anyways.

Later on he stops the likes of Angel Manfredy, Juuko, Gatti, Augustus, Genera, etc. See the common pattern here? Literally C to B level fighters. Please don't tell me Augustus is some top tier or anything.

And the finally, Diego Corrales. His best win in my opinion. This is his best win by far. Only problem is that Chico didn't really have a chin, so again, can we really say Pretty Boy Floyd did anything spectacular? Probably not.

I would continue to list off Pretty Boy Floyd era opponents that he fought, but you get the point. I like Floyd but we can't act like he was a fighter that was stopping everybody in their tracks, or at least anybody worth a damn.

Anything thats starts with no hate on Floyd you know is going to be full of hate or full of ignorance, in your case both.

You have no clue about boxing but you know hype.

How did Diego have no chin with all the wars he was in? No way he would survived that war with Castillo if he didn't

Floyd hasn't fought a meaningful fight in more than five years. But not a day goes by without multiple threads about him. That's greatness..............

basically when he stepped up in class he stopped getting KO's, like what happens to most fighters. every time i watched him fight it went the 12 rounds with him dancing around for most part, boring everyone to tears

This is funny. Claim he’s boring while low key admitting you watched every fight.
