You beat nothing more than a decent fighter in Commey for an easy title. The others were shot or just complete bums. It doesn't get any easier than that. Davis is a punk, there's no denying that. But Pedraza and even Leo (Even though he was the smaller fighter) were good wins. But Lopez is saying Davis hasn't even beaten a B or C level fighter? That's bullshlt. Both are delusional.

What I am talking about is how boxing works. A-side is the money maker.

Not the one shouting it to the boxing media. And it isn’t who is the most proven today.

If Terrence Crawford attempts to fight Manny Pac Man Pacquiao, Manny would be the A-Side. TC would be the favorite. He would also be P4P number one. However Pacquiao is the financial draw.

That is Davis right now. Not saying Teo can’t earn it but he is going to have to finish his rise as a draw. His name is getting out there but until further notice he is not selling like Davis.

Maybe you are thinking outside of business about who would be the boxing writer’s favorite going into the fight?

Lopez will be selling more than Davis will, that's for sure. Yes, it has to do with who's in the opposite corner, but if both were up against a sold world class fighter with a chance for crowds in their next fight, it's clear who will come out on top. Lopez didn't have a chance to get a big crowd for the Loma fight due to Covid. But when crowds come back, you better be sure he'll sell out. He'll be one of the few Americans that will actually do so.

That’s real bro, he has the talent to go where ever he wants in the sport. But I question if Top Rank has the vision. They are so concerned about spending less that they hang young fighters out to dry because they don’t want to promote anymore and now they don’t even want to pay good competition. I think Teo will be a star but it will take him forcing fights like he did with Loma. But Kambosos can’t be his new level of competition.

Kambosos is better than every fighter baring Leo and Pedraza that Davis had fought. Plus, he's been around much longer than Lopez. Hell, it took him over 3 years after he fought a world level fighter to fight his next one in Leo. But he was the absolute favourite. But Leo still gave him a close fight until the knockout blow. So you should be quiet when it comes to opposition.

But then again, you do try and make out all the bums and nobodies Wilder fought as being good. Haha.
