Comments Thread For: Hearn: Wilder-Whyte is Big Draw, But Whyte Must Beat Povetkin First

Eddie Hearn, promoter for heavyweight contender Dillian Whyte, would not rule out the possibility of a fight with former WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder in 2021. In a recent interview, Whyte was among the possibilities that Wilder named for next year.

Wilder will not do it. Haymon and Finkel do not have enough confidence in wilder to take that risk. wilder has even less confidence.

If they are going to cash out the big alabama fraud hoax, it will be against Joshua.

Wilder namedropped Whyte in an attempt to up his value. But mark my words, he will never fight him voluntarily. He would not even fight Whyte when he was mandated to by WBC. They rigged Sulaiman to blockade Whyte from wilder.

I'm still not convinced that Whyte could evade that right hand for 12 rounds.

I'll drop $5k on Wilder to beat Whyte. Easy money.

The PBC heavies are all chasing Helenius, he has to fight one of them for beating Knowacki.

Love to see Whyte vs Wilder but Wilders's comment on turning it down last time was "you just want to be able to compare me" ..... yes Mr Wilder yes.

Lol... Hearn GTFOH. Whyte just got slept by old man Povetkin. We want that Fury vs Wilder 3 without the magic mittens. Stop trying to distract people with irrelevant fighters not in the heavyweight Top 7.

How does name dropping Whyte do that?

whyte knocks him out. if theres one thing i learnt from povetkin v whyte its that both fighters would have stopped wilder. you cant beat a technical fighter like dillain whyte with the type of shots wilder lands i.e big looping windmills you can see coming a mile off.
