Tank can't make 126 but I think he has a decent chance to beat him at 130. The Loma who beat Rigo might outpoint him. He beats all the rest.

The longer great fighters of the past have been retired the harder it becomes for any current fighter to beat them in fantasy fights. Their strengths and best fights are remembered and their weaknesses and poor performances forgotten.

I am a huge Morales fan. I want to say he wins and kicks a$$ while doing so, but I wasn't to certain. So I go's and look at his boxrec for what he did accomplish at 126/FW, and I don't now that it helps me much in either direction. He fought 7 12 rd title fights at the weight and he officially went 6-1. That lone loss was in the 2nd Barrera fight, the only one of their 3 pretty much everyone feels he clearly won. Erik was just VERY inconsistent at the weight according to what he looked like in most of those fights, more so than what he accomplished, in my eye. The In Jin Chi fight and the first with Espadas Jr. were very difficult fights and very hard on him. So, then I looked up the current FWs of note, which Loma or Tank are not fighting at the moment. Looking at the names that are though, I think if we were assured that the very best Morales was to show up, I think he can win against the current top 5 FW's boxrec lists. As for Loma, I think Erik can win by decision if he sticks to a boxing heavy jab-centric strategy for the vast vast majority of the fight. I think he can outbox Tank as well. They may have to be kinda boring fights, especially by Morales fight comparisons, but I think he can do it.
