I'm in no hurry to see this with all the more interesting opposition out there for Canelo. I think I'd rather see this happening in 2+ years when maybe Canelo is slowing down a lil & Munguia has gained more experience if he's not been knocked off yet. I kinda suspect he'll just get knocked off within 2yrs, but who knows. Fair play to him doe, he's supposed to be saying he wants to fight Canelo. Anyone from 154 to 175 should be mentioning him in hopes of a career high payday & the greatest opportunity of their life

De La Hoya short changed Mayweather too. Mayweather took 20% and sold the PPV to death. He also looked at it as adding a big name on his resume. He beat DLH and made good PPV money.

Boxers nowadays are such divas with the money, that they won’t even follow the blueprint of the guy they are trying to be.

Charlo could have taken the Canelo “short change”, beat him, add that big name to his resume, and keep his name growing. Instead he priced himself out. Canelo is a PPV fighter. Charlo doesn’t have that kind of starpower. Charlo didn’t care about beating Canelo, or growing his name. He just wanted a big payday win or lose. He doesn’t care about being a top 10 P4P fighter. Mayweather cared about everything, money, winning, adding names to his resume. These fighters pricing themselves out vs clear A-side fighters, they just care about money.
