Comments Thread For: Pulev: I Will Expose Joshua To The World For A Second Time

Anthony Joshua's second title reign will last a little more than a year only because he hasn't fought since regaining his slew of heavyweight belts.
At least, that's the story Kubrat Pulev chooses to tell the world. The incoming IBF mandatory challenger from Bulgaria has been brimming with confidence for as long as he has been in line to challenge for a piece of the heavyweight crown. Nearly two years in waiting, Pulev (28-1, 14KOs) finally gets his chance as he faces England's Joshua (23-1, 21KOs) on December 12, which will air live on Sky Sports Box Office (U.K.) and DAZN (U.S.) from SSE Arena-Wembley in London, England.

It wouldn't surprise me if this Tin Man gets starched again.

I don't think that Kurat Pulev, can beat Anthony Joshua. He probably will sting, maybe even hurt Joshua temporarily. That said I don't see him being able to corner, punish, and stop him in their fight. I expect Joshua to catch, and seriously hurt Pulev in the middle to late rounds. Pulev is just a slower plodding version of Joshua.

I'll give Joshua credit for adapting to his condition. He knows he has crystal in his jaw, so now he's a runner. It's better for people to say, there he goes, than, there he lays.

Wonder if the writer kept a straight face when writing this:

'Pulev earned his place at the table after outpointing England’s Hughie Fury'

I understand how it works before anyone with adenoids pulls me up but it's still funny.

AJ better watch everything from the Ref’s, the judges, the testing and Pulev’s gloves.

Bob is talking real certain and greasy around a Pulev win. As bad as AJ looked against Ruiz, we should still have no reason to believe Pulev... who got hit clean in his younger years can gets it done? The man has no Strong defense. He was always a sucker for a hook. That means he is tailor made for AJ. That’s why no one cares about this fight. Either Bob is selling vapor or there is some sort of cheat strategy here.

I don't think AJ's turned into a runner off the back of one performance. There was far too much at risk that night to go slugging with a slugger. Could have been frozen out for sometime and lost a lot of PPV money in the process.

He just did what he should have done in the first fight, box! Why go toe to toe with a guy with T-Rex arms when you can keep it at length for a lopsided points victory, so what if it's on the back foot, it's his career.

Sugar Diabetes never stood a chance 2nd time round. I think he'll fight Pulev much more on the front foot and look to make a statement with a clinical stoppage on the first half of the fight.
