Trained by Tony Sims. Explosive, fast, good head movement, good jab, experience of his father to help guide him, great work rate, footwork, mentality, hunger, discipline, etc.

We've seen enough improvement from him now to know that he isn't going to just get turned over by somebody with good fundamentals. It's going to take an elite guy to beat him.

I reckon Benn right now would destroy Amir Khan and then be ready for titles in a couple of years.
    Benn is doing very well.

Lacks power, but then makes up for that with work rate 'Does not really seem to have a creative mind inside of the ring ether, in that sense he reminds of Chris Eubank Junior' Although Junior is physically stronger, in the clinch and at bulling opponents etc This has been proven by how Eubank Junior competed with fighters at 168 pounds.

I would say for sure if he is guided right 'Benn will at least get a world title opportunity at some point in his career'.

    • Benn kept his stamina and speed until the end of the fight.

He don't fight when pushed back and has to improve his inside game. A work in progress but overall he look sharp in what he could do.

      • @Showtime Shawn did you bet on yourself to go the distance with Formella?

        • "I hit him with a straight one-two in round nine and I thought ‘this geezer is tough’.

Told you. 'Man Bun' is rugged. Straight rugged.

with the amount of world titles out there and all the leg ups and people surrounding him along with Hearn he’d have to be worse then useless not To be found something to fight for . Perhaps the WBC can invent another strap with the word “world “ in it ..

I thought the same thing , i thought it might just be me tho . His tats helped similar body type to Prograis. He's not on that level yet but he's getting there

                  • Formella found his level. First he was schooled by world class fighter, now British level prospect outboxed him.

I didn't think about the the physical appearance lol, but that's very true too. Something about Benn's offensive/defensive behavior and swagger felt like I was watching Prograis or Thurman. He performed about as good as Porter, so I'm sure Benn's team is happy that his progress in training has exhibited itself at the best time.

I'd like to see Benn against Ray Robinson next.
