Of course Wilder needs to be ready to put his line on the line, if he wants to beat Fury

he knows he'll be rabbit punched and raked with loaded gloves and his water will be probably poisoned and everyone from inspectors, referees, judges, venue, costume designers etc will conspire against him

I think everyone who enters the ring is accepting that directly or indirectly. Boxing is dangerous. You can walk in one person & walk out or be carried out someone else. Not many sports can alter the course of your life like that.

If anything Deontay is just moving it up a notch with his "don't stop my fight" take on boxing, but many guys have that take they just haven't needed to be as open & verbal about it.

It's admirable to be willing to fight to the death but its also dumb and that's why you got ppl in your corner making sensible decisions. Well I say that, not now, now Wilders manager runs his corner and he dont give a toss if Wilder dies leaving all those children fatherless cuz he's a super yes man.
