He would have a good chance. Foreman was huge in 70s, but he wouldn`t be huge now. He is as big as Kownacki.

When did anybody of them fight someone like Fury?

And even if he’s juiced up - he doesn’t have a stiff jab to keep AJ off. He flicks his Jab and AJ will walk through that. So the fight would mostly be at midrange and close.

Also, in the last Ruiz fight - I noticed AJ has added something to the way he throws his right from long range and it looks smooth, effective and vicious. I believe he added that with the help of Joby and Angel in camp and it’s going to come handy against Fury at long range. The way he also hooks his jab from long range would be very effective against the scar tissue on Fury’s eye caused by Wallin bussin it open.

If AJ can come in at the right weight, pace himself and not rush anything like he does whenever he gets excited - Fury stands no chance.

I forgot - I think Povetkin also beats Fury via KO.
Yeah that’s not how I see the fight going. What makes you think Fury doesn’t have the gas tank to fight long? He did it against Wlad and he didn’t it against Wilder in their first fight.

You saw the last fight against Wilder and how he was gassed by the end of the 4th rd. Wilder was sleep walking for two rounds and he couldn’t put punches together to get him out of there until the beginning of the 6th.

Wlad’s fight was 5 yrs ago before he went berserk and got fat. Even with the Wlad fight - both didn’t do anything to get tired. They barely threw punches for 12 rds and the fight was a hugfest with jabs.

He can’t fight AJ the way he fought Wlad unless he wants to get sparked during one of his hugging trips. He’d have to be more aggressive. Also, Fury’s body isn’t what it used to be and his body would get tested with body shots.

Fury is just a great style matchup for AJ to beat up. And his weaknesses are AJ’s strengths. If he had a left hook, which has been AJ’s kryptonite throughout his career (from the amateur) apart from throwing caution in the wind when he hurts boxers - I’ll pick him to beat AJ. But too bad he doesn’t. His biggest weapon is the right hand he swings 180 wide and that’s not effective against a counterpuncher who is faster than him.

Your question basically starts with an assertion that Fury has fought better talent than they did which is preposterous. Other than an over the hill Wlad Klitchko who has Fury beaten that is of note?

Ali fought all the greats of his time, George Foreman, Joe Frazier and Sonny Liston for example.

Lennox Lewis and Joe Louis would both beat Fury and even a prime Vitali Klitchko would do it. Fury is the cream of the current crop of fighters but he lacks the resume' to be considered as even one of the all time greats.
