He was almost always the smaller man in the ring. Never backed away from a challenge. At age forty he is still taking on younger, fresher opponents who pose an actual threat.
    Berrera way past prime
Margarito was clause and beyond shot
Bradley and his 10 ko's are no risks
Cotto was put on a 2 lb clause
Brave Pac would not rematch him WITHOUT THAT SAME CLAUSE !
JMM, they are the same size

    You're reaching for unicorns

Never backed a way from a challenge

LOOK AT WHO HE'S BEEN FIGHTING THESE PAST TEN YEARS !

Every fighter is going to have a has been or two on their resume. It goes without saying. But Matthysse or Rios were never going to beat Manny even at their best.

I look at who took more risks, and who gave fans the most entertaining fights. Who challenged himself more and who sought out the toughest fights and rematches even after losing or going through twelve grueling rounds. Manny ticks those boxes for me. Floyd does not.
Dam idiot, what is their best, when was Floyds best, they all fought in the same era crossing paths in the same time frame, who the fck did Manny fight at their best, the same applies what is their best, it carries for many years just so dumb ass fanboys can pluck a day that suits and say that was prime that wasnt, yeah right all I can say to that is go box.

You just sound like a moron licking Mannys taint, it all sounds good until you have to present a criteria that you dont have, why dont you debate Mannys career vs Floyds career fight for fight and lets see where that goes lol.

Manny has had tougher fights because he is not as a good of a boxer as what Floyd is, its not fkn rocket science being number 2 of your era is not a bad deal for Manny, Floyd was just that bit better.

Arturo Gatti had highly entertaining fights. If he was Filipino, I assure they’d built a statue of him in Manila.
If Floyd was Filipino, every Filipino on the planet would think he is God.

What’s my point? Filipinos have one global superstar so anything he does will be the 2nd coming of Jesus. I’m not knocking them for that. I get it. Khan is beloved by Pakistanis.

Exactly what kind of “risks” did Manny take?
Catchweight against Cotto, Margarito and Oscar aren’t risk. He protected himself with the catchweight demands.

Fighting guys that were coming off huge defeats is not “risk” - Clottey, Mosley, Broner, Margarito .. were all Congress off losses. Maybe they fought some journeymen time get a fight with Manny.

As for rematches, whether exciting or not, except for Barrera, he rematches because they beat him and all were under the stable of Top Rank so it was just business for them.

Freddie Roach was quoted many times in 2008, 2009 and 2010 saying that Manny wasn’t ready for Floyd but he would get him ready for Floyd.
The he said, Floyd’s legs were gone so it was the right time to fight Floyd. That is called cherry picking

What risks did Floyd take? When was he ever at a disadvantage? How often was he the smaller man in the ring or the underdog? We won’t even get into his three gift decisions and how he was caught with an illegal IV.

Manny’s fan base is not limited to Filipinos. He is respected globally.

Floyd used catchweight against a still green Canelo. He fought Cotto after he was softened up by Margarito and Manny. He ducked Margarito and a rematch with Oscar in a fight where he got a gift. He got a gift versus Castillo and Maidana too. Floyd fought Judah coming off a loss to Baldomir. He should have been DQ’d in that fight as well. Corralles was weight drained at 130 and just getting over bronchitis.

              See how this works?

May took him to school. Just as he did Cotto, Mosley, DLH, Nelo, JMM, Corrales, etc

There is NO ONE on Pac's list that would have won more than 2 rds vs May. PRIME OR OTHERWISE.

Pac bois blurt out ''Margarito would have bashed in May !''
