It's hilarious that people believe Mike Tyson could beat any top 10 current heavyweight. Miracles do happen occasionally though. Haha

It is a sad state in the HW div.

        Mike would rank #5

I respectfully disagree with this. Muscle memory will come into play because of the training camp. If he just jumped straight into the fight without training then I would agree but with months of training muscle memory comes into play. I went 10 years without putting on gloves or working out and started back when my kids got old enough to wanna try to learn and it took a few weeks but things started clicking again for me.

Tyson has about 2% chance of winning this bout and the fact he is a favourite is testament to just how much of a fringe sport boxing has become. Tons and tons of spectators and very few competitors. Ring rust is one of the most deblitating things to happen to a fighter. I've taken time off and come back struggling against relative novices, against an ATG like RJJ is a death knell. He legs are shot but he still has far more recent experience, and winning experience too. Tyson's last time in the ring was in ****ing 2005 and he threw in the towel. And that was coming off of a loss too. Tyson, as much as I love him, is no RJJ/Wilder/Mayweather. He doesn't possess any kind of freak athletic ability...he was a hyper disciplined fighting machine in his prime but that prime is gone. In fact, his peekaboo style and constant head movement is a challenge to replicate at old age. He'll gas quick...and Tysons a guy not exactly favoured for having a gas tank.

RJJ can pretty much cruise into a decision victory here.
Cong**** on the upcoming fight I respect any fighter for what they do I sometimes wish I'd taken things more serious as a young man but I respectfully disagree with you on this. Mike Tyson being motivated is on another level than people give him credit. He was a little man in a big man's division and a destroyer so he definitely has athletic ability.

Exactly, Tyson may in fact win this exhibition and may even look pretty good doing it, compared to Roy (whose legs look shot to hell).

But any talk of Tyson fighting in a full on professional fight vs any top 20 ranked fighter is crazy. It's the same "he's still got it" folks from 20 years ago. Wishful thinking.

I guess McBride and Danny Williams would be the top 2 with EASE today then
Them two are better than the guys I named. If they was about today Williams and Mcbride would beat every contender I NAMED.

Prime Williams might, McBride probably loses to all of them.
