Comments Thread For: Fury Would Knock Joshua Out Within Six, Says Warren

Frank Warren, who promotes WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, believes his man would finish division rival Anthony Joshua in six rounds. Earlier this year, Fury and Joshua agreed in principle to a two-fight deal for 2021 - with a 50-50 monetary split.

The way that Ruiz disposed of Joshua and the way that Fury did Wilder then Warrens prediction makes sense , I think he's right but Joshua would stay a little later and maybe even take his beating over 12 . Even though Tyson has proved very durable these are big lads and Joshua may just get lucky.

He could in theory force a stoppage in six but the stats say a knockout is highly unlikely and an AJ knockout of him far more likely. The clever money says if AJ doesn't have him seriously hurt in six Joshua is going to lose.

Fury looked amazing against Wilder but that's just one fight, he's not boxed like that every fight. I'd have Fury to find the way but I'm not sure it will be anything like the Wilder fight, inviting Joshua to a battle in the early rounds gives away a lot of his advantages.

Aj & Hearn for a while now keep name dropping Usyk. I think that's Ajs next fight rather than a true legacy fight against Fury. That's they're mo. Dangle Wilder, fight pov. Dangle Fury, fight Usyk. Then stick Whyte in the way againso Aj can fight the oldest weakest mandatory they can find. 2022 anyone?

Usyk keeps getting name dropped because he’s the mandatory and could conceivably stop the AJ-Fury fight being for all the belts. Wilder was offered the fight and declined it to fight Fury for less money, so how is this on AJ?

Can you please explain what AJ has done to fill you with so much cynicism? Because from how I see it, AJ is the only current fighter to have unified belts and has fought more top 10 fighters than Fury and Wilder combined. He also talks positively about wanting to fight all the top ring-rated opponents out there. Help me understand where you’re coming from.

Man find another sport, champions should fight their mandatories and as much of the top 10 as they can ..

Ring top 10 current and how many they fought
                  ----------------------------------------------------
Fury fought 1 (I know Fury was out for a bit so unfair.)
                  Joshua fought 5
                  Wilder fought 2

Fury and AJ both went up against Klitschko that was the heart check and Fury should get extra props for fighting away.
