Is Rick Mirigian the next Richard Schaffer?

Oscar and Golden Boy need to be extremely cautious of Mirigian, the man has been nothing but disparaging of Golden Boy Promotions since he signed 4 of their fighters to management deals. Also, Mirigian seems to be tied with MTK Global having all 4 Golden Boy fighters sign adviser deal with them. Dude, seems like a snake in the grass much like Richard Schaffer. Oscar better keep a tight leach on his company b/c Mirigian is already in bed with MTK global and wouldn’t be surprise if he pulls a Schaffer and takes the fighters under his management to MTK.

I wouldn't be surprised if some more bs goes down with GBP either with this guy or elsewhere doe. I don't think they run a tight ship over there. I think they are living off of name value as a promoter. Sorta like a higher level Don King situation. Oscar gots so much bad press with his personal bs & this losing Canelo thing was bad for them too that idk how they sign up & coming dudes or how they keep the guys they got. I think Ryan might stick around if he gets enough attention & money. I think Vergil might stick around cuz he's just a worker & I don't think he or his people are too hardcore about this business sh^t but who knows. But idk that they can get anyone bigger than those guys anytime soon. That said the good part for GBP is Ryan &/or Vergil could end up being big players in the future landscape of boxing & them sticking around keeps GBP a A level promotion still. But if both of those guys go GBP is going to be the B level promotion with the biggest name. And I'm sure plenty would argue they are B level or aren't close to A level now minus Canelo.

I really wouldn't want my Advisor, Manager and most certainly not my Lawyers all Buddy Buddy with My Promoter anyway so who cares if he bashed GBP before. He works for Vergil Ortiz NOT for GBP! What happened to Canelo Won't happen to Vergil Ortiz under Rick watch and I think ALL fighters need that! So YES if GBP don't do right by Vergil Ortiz then YES maybe Rick does advise him to GTFO like Canelo do. So it is up to GBP to take care of him and I think Eric Gomez and Roberto Diaz (Oscar don't do Sh^t he is just the name and shows up to promote during fight week) will indeed take care of him and help build him up into GBP next Big STAR
