I'm also a fan of Spence because he's proven himself, and I'm a fan of Porter because nobody has dominated him and he always comes to fight. HE above every fighter gives you your money's worth every damn fight.


It's funny. If this were ANY OTHER FIGHTER running through C-levels, they would get criticized to the high hell, but just because this guy is able to knock out washed up (Brook), damaged (Khan), crippled (Benavidez) and unknown (Kavaliauskas) guys, he's supposed to have done enough to earn a shot at the top guy in the division.

Yet when Brandon Rios who did the SAME DAMN THING earned a shot against Manny, people criticized Rios as not having done enough.

When Bradley who did the SAME DAMN THING got a shot against Manny, people criticized Arum for Manny's poor competition.

But for some reason it's different with this guy.

I want that too - when it's a CREDIBLE champion facing a CREDIBLE champion. Otherwise the roles are reversed and it's Crawford (as Spence) vs. Indongo (as Crawford).

That's the problem. It doesn't matter what he wants in the BUSINESS of boxing.

What the fans should have and what they should demand is that fighters TEST themselves. We should NOT want lopsided or questionable fights. We don't know how good Crawford is. Until we do, we should not be filling his head with this notion that he's on a level playing field with Spence.

Spence has already proven to us who he is. At this point the only thing that might hold him back is his car wreck. He's stopped PRIME guys who had never been stopped, he went OVERSEAS to take belts, he's sold out arenas. That's confirmed. We know he's a draw. We know he's the real deal.

All we know of Crawford is, if you're a B-level or below, you're not getting out alive. Okay...? We don't know with an A-level fighter how he performs. He might go timid. He got might dropped (Kavaliauskas did it). We just don't know. WE NEED TO FIND OUT before he goes against Spence.

Because remember, that's exactly what happened with Spence/Algieri and it's exactly what happened with Wilder/Fury. Exactly what happened with Loma/Rigo.

Why go through that again? Why not just let the F'n guy fight a top level guy other than Spence first - just ONE - so we can test him on the same level as the others?

THEN we can talk about whether a Spence fight makes sense based on how Spence looks after the Danny fight.

What if Swift sparks Spence out cold? You still want Crawford to fight Spence? It'd make no damn sense. Especially since Porter beat that same Danny!!

Cuz he comes to fight and a true warrior. He arguably beat Prime Thurman and was one point away from a draw with Spence.

Throws flea bites. Alot of wild movement and wild swinging with no power to back it up. Not even enough to bruise his opponent's face. Add that to him headbutting guys accidentally on purpose.

He didn't almost beat neither one of them. Porter is a durable guy that gives an great effort, that's it. His lack of skill is why he couldn't beat Brook, Thurman, Spence, and arguably even Ugas. Once his stamina fades he has nothing to fall back on. The fight down the stretch with Thurman is the perfect example of this. I've been watching the dude since he was going life and death with Julio Diaz and if you watched the Formella fight you would see he isn't any better than he was back then. Same wild **** with poor punch technique, arm punches with big windup and no power behind them. Mayweather Sr used to laugh that he doesn't even know how to throw a straight punch.
