Can someone explain how they fixed the dent in Wilders head without surgery, how did they fix a fractured skull without leaving a scar or without even having to shave Wilders s-curls off?

Hmmmmm. A good magician gets everybody to look the other way while he does his trickery. Im beginning to wonder if this is the same thing. Get everybody looking at Fury while we cheat like FKK.
DaNeutral must I ask again WTF are you talking about. Imagination running amuck little guy?

I will not resort to calling names cause, well, it says a lot about the interlocutor

It’s like this brother, if cheating is part of the game then there are no rules. If there are no rules you fail to have a sport. This is why boxing is failing to connect with the masses today. In a world where almost every other sport has some face validity in rigor, structure, accountability and equity... Boxing still appears to be framed exclusively by a mysterious satanic rule book.
It has become embarrassing to tell people you watch it. It is like saying you belong to a criminal enterprise. **** ESPN, if anything that drives viewership straight downward.
For example, why no instant replay? Well, we didn't need cameras for extra eyes did we? Could have always had ringside officials to catch angles the in ring ref can't see. In fact we did for a period around the Tom Spring era...um 1820sish
My guess it is the usual suspects such as the Boxing Promoter. If you need to make sure your guy wins the last thing you want is data and visual evidence when you screw the other guy. That is why boxing can only be equitable on a platform like the UFC where all the fighters and promoters exist under one unified entity.
Right now promoters will stab all of boxing in the back to prevent another promoters success and rig there own.
The problem with that is many men had developed stage blocking skills and their fans appreciate those skills. Guys like Kid McCoy and stuff are dirty as, but also, so talented even Ali ripped from his play book. The corkscrew punch is a McCoy dirty tactic. I get where you are going that there is creativity in breaking the rules. What is more masterful is looking at the rules to determine how to beat the game in legal ways. I tell you what if we somehow learned that Wilder had been loading his gloves and that’s the reason why he was sleeping guys nonstop. Everyone can be objective until it’s there Family member on the other side of the cheating bastard.
Boxing came from Sparta where cheating is only punished for those caught in the act. A cheating pygmachia who won his crown (literal back then) then told the public he cheated feared no repercussions.
Nice factoid but in my best Leonidas voice this isn’t Sparta.
Would like to think that the world has a bit more structure today than the days of Pygmachia. The biggest problem I have with this comparison is Fury did get caught. Problem is we have now learned boxings promoter sponsored media and linked sanctioning bodies are in on the cover up. That’s pretty ****ing terrible. Bro I don’t want to watch anything calling itself a sport when the only limits on cheating is the imagination and who the cheater is. Who the **** would be like this is joy to watch as everything becomes predictable? It’s why boxing is loosing viewership
Boxing moves from that arena to ******** dens abouts the 1640s. Dudes won fights at gunpoint and stuff like that. Hell, early US boxing has stuff like eye gouging victories. Properly dirty as ****.
So help me understand your stance? Are you saying this is right? I can also account for an endless number of sports that through out history remained interesting to watch because this ridiculous nonsense would and could not happen. Even the Olympics had its level of cheating but I would lie to think it isn’t happening as much today.
The bodies in abouts 1910 clean up a **** ton of nonsense, but, when your fans are coming from trash and your talents are really just a smidgen more respectable than a barroom brawler it's a bit hard to totally clean the sport. You get push back.
Lol...I don’t think the boxing officials are applying themselves. Problem is the sanctioning bodies are being paid to look the other way and fans allow it. But if ESPN is hell bent on saying boxing has declined, this inability to create a reputable sport is the number one reason why.
Today, can't hit on the break. 1920s you can hover over a down man and pop him soon as he gets both feet under him, ain't even got to stand. 1820s you can hit him while he's down so long as it's an elbow drop. You can also kick and wear steel cleats. NP Dempsey was cut from a cleated kick. Today most of that **** is gone but what remains is stuff like blocking the in ring ref's vision and punching low. We don't have cameras nor men at every corner because like it or not it's allowed and it's allowed because it's a vestige of our old dirty sport's history.
So what I'm saying really is it's cool for you to hate cheating. Don't hate on fans who are fans of it though. We're just complete boxing fans, not purists. I'll watch a points wiz like May, a good cheat like Hopkins, and a bruiser like Wilder, no problem. I got no beef with no one who doesn't like those three but they are the main three in boxing and have been since Mendoza made up the points **** in the 1780s. Punching and cheating are far older.
