Wilder is thinking (1) way only about the stoppage, “going out on his shield and being a warrior.” But he isn’t factoring in the financial consequences of being out for a 10 count and beyond or being seriously hurt. Imagine if he really got laid out cold, how we would all feel about Wilder.
