45/55 In favor of Spence Junior.

Terrence Crawford has achieved more in terms of acquiring belts, and becoming undisputed at 140 'But Spence Junior has beaten better fighters at 147, Porter, near enough peak Brook, and now he is going up against Danny Garcia etc'.

Terrence doesn't deserve an even split.

this sums up crawford, no attempt to negotiate, straight up 'i wont fight' and onto the next weak opponent. maybe he could drag ricky hatton out of retirement, hes got a taste for washed up british fighters at the moment

By that logic, fighters moving up in weight to fight champions should get less because they're unproven at the new weight. It should be the opposite, you've cleaned out your weight (Bud was undisputed at 140), so now your making the move up and taking the risk. The bigger guy now gets to fight a smaller guy than usual. The guy moving up deserves the bigger check.

There are many variables involved. Spence-Crawford isn't an old vet versus a young lion, or a superstar versus an up and comer. Both a similar in age, are both P4P, are at a similar star status, and both need a win over the other to go up a level in respect and popularity. 50-50 is more or less fair. This shouldn't be as complicated and drawn out as two worldwide phenoms like Mayweather and Pacquiao, who were already ATG and could get huge checks fighting anybody.

Spence Junior is more of the king at 147 then Crawford, Crawford has invaded the division. The reason why I stated 45/55 is because it is smaller than 20% difference, Crawford may well accept 'A 20% difference 60/40, I don't agree with'.

Nobody really know's what condition Spence Junior is in 'I think his next fight, is a real fight'.

I don't think Spence Junior believes Crawford has done enough at 147 to get 50/50, if Crawford faces Porter or Thurman and wins? Then I think a 50/50 fight is more likely.

I swear if this fight happens it’s going to be a boring ass fight with both of these guys playing it safe.

Honestly neither guy to me is worth millions. They keep banking on this fight doing Mayweather-Pacquiao PPV numbers but I don’t see it. People won’t care

Another thing Bud needs to understand, Spence Has Options...BIG OPTIONS! Even Canelo knows that a fight with him and Spence Jr is BIG $$$. They would sell out Cowboys Stadium together easily and that would make a lot of money. Now of course it is a Suicide Mission for Spence Jr going up for Canelo BUT considering the amount of money he would be paid to do it, it would be well worth it for him!

So yeah just something else to think about!

That being said, Spence Jr need to focus on Danny Garcia right now anyway, Danny is always tough so I don't see that being easy for Spence Jr and if Danny Lands one of those "No Look Left Hook" he can do some serious damage to a guy coming back from a serious accident
