Who actually has more power between Canelo and GGG?

Its different styles. Canelo is a boxer/counter puncher, GGG is an aggressive pressure fighter. What if Canelo and GGG switched roles? Or their resumes? Will they still have that many ko?

Power is all about who you're hitting at this level. Canelo has fought much better competition throughout his career than GGG, set up the row of bums GGG fought and Canelo would have KOed them all too. One GGG started fighting legit guys, all the sudden he stopped knocking people out, no coincidence.

Heck, almost any big name fighter has a string of KOs in his early fights because he was getting his feet wet. Floyd Mayweather literally lifted dudes off the ground with uppercuts in his first 1 fights. GGG stayed fighting bums like that into his 30s. His fight card is still a joke at his age. He's got like 4 good fighters on his career card.

He throughs straight punches to the head and they used to have great snap, but now he has slowed down some. Canelo has the better speed and explosion. I think GGG is the better puncher but you can see his punches coming. Canelo gets you in multiple punch explosions at the inside and mid range. GGG power is from the outside.

I was thinking the same thing. Golovkin seems to have more brute punching power while canelo has power but his ability to counter and catch you off guard are what drops people

Golovkin is the bigger puncher but by no means does that insinuate that Canelo is pillow fisted. He hits hard for his size as well.

Now probably but Golovkin's number of body shot KO's and KD's says otherwise. Gennadiy used to be a devastating body puncher.
