Most likely Spence wins by decision. Crawford hardcore fans will argue that Crawford was robbed.

Spence is younger and more experienced at 147. people point out how is Crawford dominant. Well, Spence was also dominant when he fought guys like Herdeen, Algieri, Bundu, Ocampo. He schooled Mikey Garcia, who is p4p level guy. he beat Porter. he beat better version of Brook than Crawford did.

If Spence beats Danny and Crawford, he will be remembered as the best welterweight of this generation.

Pacquiao is not this generation and he won`t even fight these guys.

I've always thought watching how they fight Spence would stop Crawford by the 6th round in a modern day Hagler-Hearns.

Imo, Crawford has better footwork, handspeed and is a lot more fluid. Spence may be the *bigger* WW and hits very hard and is smartly economical with his output but Bud catches guys with punches they don't see and I definitely see him getting the better of Errol. As I always say, a good fluid boxer beats a good mechanical boxer.

I totally agree. Spence is heavy handed but he is not a flash puncher like crawford. Crawford catches you at anglesa and is way faster. Spence is a bit mechanical.

By the time it actually happens they will both be Mid 30's, boxing is a joke.

I expect a close hard fought battle with Spence winning a close fight by throwing and landing more punches in more rounds. Either boxer has the skill and power to knock the other out so it could end up a KO win for either guy. They both have never been knocked down so I think it goes the distance. It should be a mixture of skillful boxing and hard punching by both of them. Neither man will run from the other at any time. They are both come forward aggressive boxers and very hard punchers with good defense and good chins.

Bud would have a hard time getting to Spence.
This isn’t a faded Khan or Brook. Spence isn’t going to just wait to be hit.
Bud would get off to a slow start and then get desperate late and get caught IMO.

It might be the best and most even fight that can be made today even though it may never happen. It is also a fight that every boxing fan wants to see very much.

I don’t see a reality where Crawford loses this fight, Errol is bigger but that’s it. Crawford is longer, quicker & smarter than Spence. Crawford starts slow (as he’s known to do) then figures him out. He frustrates Errol with the jab & catches him in traps. Crawford power is vastly underrated, he either catches Errol with something sneaky & stops him late or cruises to a UD.

I agree with everything except the generation part. A generation is about 25 years and Spence is only about 10 years younger than Pac and Crawford is only 8 years younger. Pac is still fighting today and was not a pro boxer 25 years ago. Top welterweights of the 1990s would be a generation ago, not Pac. However 41 is very old for a pro boxer and Pac should retire for his future health in my opinion.
