C'mon, Cotto, Paq, Oscar left because they no longer needed a promoter. Garcia, who had been brainwashed by what he saw at PBC left even knowing he was being set up to be a star and the ultimate goal was for him to fight Paq. His decision has proven to be a big mistake and now he has been begging for a Paq fight. Oh the irony!
Out of all the complaints about former Arum fighters I have never heard one of them say it is because he was stealing money from me or short-changing me on money and that is the most important thing that should matter to a fighter's future once boxing is over. So Arum has been a better promoter than all other promoters. He may have a bad side, but he does not steal from his fighters. Fighters that leave always claim other issues. Unlike Don King who virtually all of his fighters claim King stole from them. And by the end of these PBC fighters career I predict a lot will realize that Haymon limited the amount of money they could of made. I bet many will sue him after they retire just like King's fighters did. He does not outright steal form them the way king did, but he manipulates his fighters giving them bad financial advise regarding their careers. He is like a financial adviser who only cares about the money he makes from you and not the money he makes for you. All this other phony outrage is in essence meaningless, because Arum has done what he is suppose to do for his fighter and that is make him money and not steal form him.
Just look at what is happening with Frampton. He realized his promoter/manager was stealing from him and has now taken him to court. Look at what Don King did to his fighters, almost all of them. All of these childish accusations against Arum are typical of todays boxing fans. They like to fight over high school type gossip and conflicts. Arum made Bud rich and never ruined his career or stole from him. Those are the 2 most important qualities of a promoter and Arum has both. Will PBC fighters be able to claim these qualities about Haymon once their careers are done? I highly doubt it.Comment

He always paid fighters less than what they were owed! Remember, who tells the fighter how much an event made? Oh, we didn't make what we anticipated...you get $150-200K less! Bunch of nonsense. Oh so you are an expert on what a fighter's worth is or what he is "owed"? Why did they not sue? Arum paid Garica well, but Garcia wanted PBC money for soft fights. Manny lost his own money due to his own terrible spending habits. It is well known Manny spends way more than he has. No one has ever said Manny is broke because Arum stole all of his money. To be proven he stole there has to be documented evidence. You claiming one of Garcia's fights made less than anticipated is not stealing. Garcia thought he deserved more money and that is not stealing. You provide no facts, just second hand gossip from boxing forums. I am sure if Manny thought Arum stole from him he would of sued him, but he never has. Many fighters have sued their promoters for theft like Chavez and Norris did with King and there never has been one lawsuit against Arum for such behavior.
Your claims are nothing but gossip. Give me evidence such as court cases. Your **** is not evidence it is nothing but a one-sided opinion because you don't like Arum. But if that is the best you can come up with then it ain't much is it.Comment
