  • Comments Thread For: Hearn: Not My Decision, But I See Garcia-Campbell Going On Separate Date From Canelo-Smith

With the announcement of Saul Canelo' Alvarez's next fight now a matter of public record, the next step is to get his stablemate back in the ring before year's end. That very much remains the plan for Ryan Garcia, even if not in accordance with his latest public wish. Efforts remain in place to reschedule Garcia's recently postponed interim title fight with England's Luke Campbell (20-3, 16KOs). The two were due to fight December 5, live on DAZN from Fantasy Springs Resort Casino in Indio, California, only for Campbell to have to withdraw due to contracting COVID-19.

Considering his desease, the latter the better for Campbell.

I use to not like Ryan because he talk to much **** and really wasnt that good. But now with Eddy, he has been looking better.

      Garcia GBP
      Davis PBC
      Haney Matchroom
      Lopez TR

The easiest to make is Haney vs Garcia on DAZN.

Is this also going to be for the WBC Email Champ?

26th is cool. 2 weekends of decent fights. Joshua pulev 12th, canelo 19th, garcia 26th.

Put Garcia vs. Campbell on the 26th if neither has a problem fighting the day after Christmas. I used to dislike Ryan, but seeing how much he wants the smoke, I'm liking him more all the time. Fishnets needs to treat this man like gold because his cash cow is gone and this kid can save his company.

not easy to do really, unless you want to also have golden boy involved in the event...

Eddie Hearn would love for it to be his decision.

Oscar better watch his back, Fast Eddie might try to steal Ryan Garcia away next just like he swiped Canelo.

Eddie Hearn doesn't promote Canelo Alvarez
